After spending 46+ years in prison for a crime he did not commit, Ricky Lee Webb shares his story
Last night, a reporter from WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News interviewed recent exoneree Ricky Lee Webb about his journey from wrongful conviction to freedom. Ricky, who served nearly 47 years behind bars for a crime he did not commit, is the fourth longest serving exoneree in US history, and was exonerated in Gibson County last month.
This interview took place during the Tennessee Innocence Project's recent Memphis event, An Evening with an Exoneree, where exonerees Ricky Lee Webb and Wayne Burgess shared their stories to a standing room crowd.
