Disgraced doctor’s testimony put Tennessee man in prison for 24 years
After 27+ years in prison, Wayne has been granted a new trial based on new scientific evidence of actual innocence! In November 2022, the Tennessean first highlighted Wayne’s case, which relied on the testimony of former medical examiner, Dr. Charles Harlan.
